Beautiful sound, feel, and look.

I absolutely adore this instrument. The sound quality is amazing and it is so lovely to look at as well - I love the feel of the wood, the two types of mallet for different effects, and the pentatonic scale is so amazing because whatever you play sounds beautiful. We will treasure this always.

Soothing to ears

We received this as a gift for our daughter. She loved playing with it as she turned 6 month and still loves playing with it and the sound of it.

You need this in your life!

All you have to do is scale the mallet on the chimes and you can be swept away to times past. I love playing this at bedtime. It is very expensive, however.

Great Quality but Pricey without full scale

The quality and craftsmanship of this product is there - I just wish I knew it was missing C and F (intentionally)... it just makes it frustrating to try to play most songs. Ended up having to get another glockenspiel, which I was I didn't have to do. Perhaps I should have gotten the $25 that is rated well!

This is a beautiful glockenspiel. It is small and sturdy and my daughter loves the sound. The mallets fit in small hands well and are also sturdy. Replacements are also available if needed. I leave this on the table at home and my daughter will walk up to it and play a little tune now and again. The wood is easy to polish, and the bars shine up nicely too with beeswax polish. This is worth it.

Simply Beautiful

I purchased this on the recommendation of my daughter's kindergarten teacher (in a Waldorf School). It is simply beautiful and sounds so lovely. It has become a lovely instrument for my daughter to begin experimenting with music. I wish I had gotten this years ago instead of the box of lower quality toy musical instruments.

This is the most beautiful looking and sounding instrument that is easy to play. Anything you play sounds good. It is so soothing. I think this is one of the best investments for your child- first as a sweet bedtime aid, and then as a wonderful toy that lasts forever.
